Chaos Kitchen

Welcome to the Chaos Kitchen

Where the sink is never empty, the stove is always hot, and someone’s always asking, “What’s for dinner?”—even while they’re still chewing lunch.

This is the heart of the home, aka my full-time job without paid breaks. With six growing boys (and their appetites) to feed, I basically live in the kitchen. I cook a lot, I clean even more, and if I had a dollar for every dish I’ve washed, I could afford takeout every night… but then who would complain that “Mom’s food is better”?

Here you’ll find tried-and-true family recipes, from chaos-proof dinners to “please don’t eat it all before I get a plate” snacks. Some meals are made from scratch, others are made from desperation—but they’re all made with love (and probably a little salsa).

Grab a plate, pull up a chair, and let’s feed the chaos together.
